What is Macrite?

Macrite is your personal AI nutrition companion. Instead of manually typing out every ingredient or guessing portion sizes, you can simply snap a photo or speak to Macrite. It automatically identifies the food, estimates the portion size, and logs the calories, protein, carbs, and fat for you.

How accurate is the AI photo scanning?

Our AI is highly trained to recognize thousands of foods, brands, and culinary styles. While it provides excellent estimates (especially for whole foods and standard restaurant meals), it's important to remember that hidden ingredients (like heavy oils or hidden sugars in sauces) can't always be seen. Macrite allows you to easily edit the analysis if you know exactly how something was prepared.

Can I still track food manually if I want to?

Yes! While AI scanning is our superpower, Macrite also supports traditional barcode scanning, and a complete manual entry mode for when you know exactly what you just ate.

How do I change my daily calorie or macro goals?

Tap the 'Settings' icon in the top right corner of the dashboard, then select 'Nutrition Goals'. From there, you can adjust your daily calorie, protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed via the Apple App Store, open the 'Settings' app on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID, select 'Subscriptions', and choose Macrite to cancel. If you subscribed via Google Play, open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, select 'Payments & subscriptions', then 'Subscriptions'.

I changed devices or reinstalled the app. How do I get my Macrite Pro back?

You can easily restore your Macrite Pro purchase for free. Open the Macrite app, tap the 'Settings' icon in the top right corner, scroll down to 'Macrite Pro', and tap 'Restore Purchases'. Your premium access will instantly reactivate.

How do I delete my account and data?

You have full control over your data. To permanently delete your account and all associated nutrition data, go to 'Settings', scroll to the very bottom, and tap the 'Delete Account' button in the Danger Zone.
